Still working on this car, took out of town trip got 25 miles per gallon as long as I was going over 60 mph.
could the map sensor and or maf sensor cause that type of problem? Im at a loss, will change hopefully the coolant sensor tomorrow.

I agree with the above expert. Getting 25 mpg out of a 1991 V6 sounds like its working fine to me. If you think it went down a couple then you can try cleaning throttle body, running some fuel system cleaner, air filter, fuel filter, tune up, and etc.

Hi, the issue is not the travel milage, this same car will only get 7 mpg in town driving and wont idle cold

Getting the car timed set, this week. After that only sensor left is speed sensor on torgue converter.
