can see coolant gushing out but its somewhere above the transmission what is this

Check if its a heater hose or a freeze plug-you need to pinpoint the exact location where the leak is -could be traveling around and can mislead you

Rather hard to see it over a computer. Could be a heater hose or a corroded core plug in the back of the engine block.
