Hi, My name is Rod Harvey. I have a question on a 1991 Dodge Dynasty LE with a 3.3. I am getting ready to replace the cvs and axles and was wondering how I can tell if it has an intermediate shaft and also if it has ABS. Nothing on the car indicates it has ABS but not sure about it or if it has an intermediate shaft. Being that old of a car and having to order everything, just wondering if you can help before I order parts. Thank You, Rod Harvey Salem IL

According to my info, automatic doesn't have an intermediate shaft.

With abs, the wheel speed sensor has to have a wiring connector at the wheel. If nothing there, you don't have abs.

Thank you for the information. Wasn't sure if you needed the vin number or not. It's kind of got my mind boggled because it has a short shaft on the passinger side and the book said it's supposed to have a long shaft on right side and a short shaft on the left side.

MOD says long shaft on the right side. To me that is the passenger side. I wouldn't think the long shaft would fit on the wrong side? I'll see if I can find a picture?

If the passenger side wheel is further from the transaxle, the longer shaft has to go on the passenger side. The picture is from a database.
