I am not car savvy at all, but I will do my best to explain the issues. I have a 5th avenue that has the little digital display box thing in the center front of the car that displays service notices, time, date, and all that jazz. Just a few hours ago it started displaying the number 9 instead of the usual information and only that. Pressing buttons to switch modes does nothing. In fact my car is off and it is still lit up with the number nine on in it. I know my battery will be drained by the morning because of it and I have no idea what the problem is or what that means. Any information would be great.

If digits are displayed in odometer, repeat test starting sequence. If odometer shows an erroneous display, replace body control computer located behind right kick panel
Simultaneously press and hold TRIP and TRIP RESET buttons. Start engine and release both buttons. If no display exists, check fuses and check for voltage at Red cluster connector, terminal No. 11 (Dark Blue wire). Replace instrument cluster if voltage exists. If voltage is not present, repair wiring as necessary.
Also check fuses.
