what cause auto to hesitate when accelerating

Check engine light on, auto hesitates once give gas acts like it wants to run out of gasoline, overheating, just recently radiator resovor not holding coolant never has done this since I've own car 3 yrs

Two things to do here, first get the cooling system pressure tested to locate any external leak, and get a diagnostic scan done to identify the set fault code that the check light is indicating, post that code here for further assistance.
