My 1991 Chevy S10 4x4 has a 4.3 v6 and 700R4. Anytime it is rainy/dewey/cool outside, it downshifts repeatedly, but then goes right back up in a heartbeat. Almost like a hiccup, but I know it's not a misfire. So the transmission is unecessarily shifting while cruising. I changed the tranny fluid and filter but it still does it. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated

best thing here is to take it to a trans guy and have him diagnose this. you may have an electrical problem at the trans that causes this.
