replacing fan shroud and knocked one of the two sensors off and when i picked it up i noticed it was rattling i also had one of the fans burn out witch is why i was changing it out and i also don't think the other fan was working because the car got very hot should i change the two sensors or is there a bigger issue?

one sensor is ambient temp sensor for a/c and the other is coolant level sensor. the a/c sensor may control the fans. check the relays and fusible links for fans as those may be burnt up see pic
