My 1991 Chevy Cheyenne had been without battery power for quite a while. I successfully recharged the battery, but in the process the radio acted a little nutty. The tuner wouldn't tune and the volume control didn't work. Since then, little by little, it has come back to life in every way except no sound. It is a Delco AM/FM radio that looks like it is stock. Is there some reprograming trick that I could use to get myself rockin out again?

No silly programming needed but these radios develop a lot of intermittent connections. I have one on the bench for that right now. If you find the clock goes back to 10:00 each time you turn on the ignition switch, look for a blown memory fuse, but if the fuse is okay, suspect solder connections.
