1991n camero heating on V6

The Camero heating system produces no heat inside car. The car has been warmed up and the heater control valve replaced. There is a vacuum signal to the control valve. The coolant has been drained at heater valve and radiator and been replaced and topped off after running engine for 20 minuts at the radiator. Can there be an air pocket in the system? Is there a check valve in the heater water system? If so where is it located in a 91 Camero?

yes there could be a pocket. but check the hoses going into the firewall for the heater core, after running the car ,they should be pretty hot. if not then your thermostat is bad. where the thermostat housing is, there should be a little bleeder screw, I usually just take the radiator cap off and start the car and let it run for fifteen minutes, all the air will eventually bubble out and receed and then you can top it off. but my way isnt the proper way, so do it by the screw
