I have a 1991 Chevy Beretta with 3.1 motor I have aproblem with the egr valve it seems like the exhaust is pushing too much pressure through it car is bogging down when you accelerate

Could be a lot of things causing the vehile to bog. Could be a fuel problem such as a fuel filter plugged. Could be the map sensor is dirty. Also the catilatic converter may be plugged up.

Have you checked to make sure the EGR is working properly? Have you checked to make sure the intake and EGR are not carboned shut?
