fuel filter

Where is the fuel filter located on a 1991 chevy astro van & can I change it myself ?

Under the vehicle, driver side rear, in the fuel line. It's a threaded fitting on both ends. A couple of wrenches is all you need. If you let the vehicle sit overnight without the key being cycled, there shouldn't be much if any pressure on the line, but you need to aware. Don't let gas fall on anything electrical, if you think too much gas is coming out of lines, plug it with something, till you go back with new filter.
