My air conditioner is not blowing cold... Do I need to convert? I believe its the older style freon.

If the system is still using older style refrigerant, the system will have to be reto fitted for current refrigerant , but with that said, you will still have to investigate why the system has failed, probably a leak has developed and this is why the system has shut down, but start with the retrofit and then get the system checked for faults.
