temp gauge goes all the way up

When i turn my headlights on and press the gas my temp gauge goes all the way up, my lights cut off then my car cuts off.what could cause this?

I already changed the alternator,the dash,and the computer was burnt out so i changed it and it burnt the other computer out to.

If the dash in the car is burnt out would that cause the car to act the way it is?
