I HAVE A 1990 4RUNNER. THE HOOD OPENED PROPERLY BUT NOW THE LATCH IS STUCH AND THE HOOD WILL NOT CLOSE. HOW DO I RELEASE THE LATCH SO THE HOOD WILL CLOSE?

Lubericate the unit really well then have a helper pull the release while you try to move the latch.

Use PB blaster to loosen up latch, then white lithiam grease.
