Vehicle has been sitting for a long time

This vehicle hasn’t moved in forever.I have no idea what I’m doing and the only person who does is my dad.I’m just asking for general help if you know anything.

I’m looking under the hood and I notice it’s a v6 and I think it’s missing some stuff I’m fairly sure a battery is missing.I haven’t started it but I’m fairly sure more is wrong with it than it seems.

Hello,

If you can upload some pictures of the engine area that will surely help.
But first of all you need to get a battery for this vehicle. That will be step one. Then you need to see if the electronics power up and if you are able to start. But before doing that you want to check the engine oil and other fluids to verify the correct level.
