The water pump was replaced 6-8 months ago. Problem reoccured. Replaced radiator, hoses and thermostat. Drove about 30 miles city and hiway-no problem. Next day drove another 30 miles and overheated again.

Make sure cooling fan is coming on. Check for issues with timing and head gaskets.

The fans do come on normally. I didn't consider a timing issue since the engine runs very well. I don't see any evidence of coolant in the oil or external leakage.

Check to see if any of the radiator hoses are collapsing.
