When the engine is running, warm, and the heater is on, do both heater core hoses get hot? Is the coolant full?

I would check the coolant level first which if it is low it will cause this problem. Please go over this video and guide to see if it helps

If it is low on coolant add some and if it gets low again you have a slow coolant leak. Please go over these guides and get back to us.
