1990 Oldsmobile 98 transmission

Transmission slipping in drive and in over drive. Runs good at first then it's like it gets bumped into neutral. No problems when in 2nd. So Replaced filter. No change. And yes I've got the correct fluid in it. Any suggestions?

Have a trans guy scan for codes and check it sounds like it's a torque converter bad and clutch pak

Already did. Fixed the problem code it was giving us but now it goes into drive and over drive for about 15 seconds then the does the same thing. But now when it slips if u wait a few seconds then give it some gas while still in the same gear it corrects itself and works again but never for more then 10 or 15 seconds. But 2nd still works just fine.

I have no idea what to tell you then it may be a leaky valve body or switch for overdrive is bad.
