if my externalwastegate leaks real bad does that effect the boost n how the kar revs

wen i rev the kar it sounds lyk its missing it runs well when its idleing but when i rev it it flaters just woundering if it would be running lean

When was the basic tune items last checked,i would first be checking that the ignition system is working correctly first, and any leakage at the turbo will cause performance problems at this should be rectified as well.
