low RPMs when giving it gas not wanting to gain speed

I have a 1990 Nissan 300zx I was driving it one day and it kept running low RPMs when giving it gas not wanting to gain speed then when i got home i killed it not it won't start. It has a little bit of fire but its very very dim, I changed the battery the car turns over with power but does not start. Any Idea whats going wrong?
