different between transmission oil and power steering oil

i want to know the different between power steering oil fluid and transmission oil fuild/ATF

it is all about lubrication. the reaction with the seals. if you use the wrong fluid, it will destroy the seals. make sure you use the correct fluid and do not mix it.

For older models such as yours, they are the same. Power steering or transmission uses Dexron II or equivalvent. Newer ehicles still have such but for some makes, they are two different fluid. Always refer to the labels or manufacturer's specification.
