1990 Mercedes Benz 560sel Lights Inside Out Flickerin While E Engine Idling

All of my lights..inside and out are flickerin while the e.engine is idling. When I rev it up..it stops. Am I right in assuming the alternator is at fault?

Could be if the belt tension is not to specs-if okay have the alternator load tested-start here
