1990 Mercedes Benz 300e Car Take Multiple Tries Crank Does Shuts Off Sometimes

My car take multiple tries to crank up and when it does crank up it shuts off sometimes. The times it has been. The car has shut off all times in the middle of turning after stopping at a stop sign or waiting to turn in the middle lane. What could this possibly be and how do I fix it?

have the fuel pressure tested. it may be a bad fuel pump
