how to remove old cylinder lock
key will not turn on in cylinder Trying to replace cylinder lock, but I can't get old cylinder out.
Need help on removing old cylinder. How do I remove it.
I was told by auto parts sales person that cylinder or key could be worn out. When the key is in cylinder the cylinder is very loose and wobbly.

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove column shrouds and lower instrument panel trim panel. Disconnect ignition switch 6-wire and 2-wire harness connectors and remove tie-straps retaining harness to column. Remove ignition switch retaining screw from ignition switch/column lock assembly. See Fig 1 . Remove ignition switch. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure proper operation of steering lock and ignition switch mechanism.
