my car can not start

my vehicle while driving just cut off and could not start any more we checked the plugs and there is not power coming from the distributor,an electrician told me that it seems the igniter, kindly could you assist me.

I believe the igniter is in the distributor.

-Could be the coil, igniter, and the distributor

the igniter is not in the distributor, it is just attached to the cil itself setaed on one side of the coil
