speedometer not working

Hi, the other day I replaced my alternator and now the speedometer is not working. I replaced the speed sensor last year and it was not doing anything like it did then before replacing the alternator, so cant imagine that needs replaced again. Any ideas?

Check the VSS again and also try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and see if it'll work .
