1990 Honda Accord Automatic Transmission Position Sensor Switch Located On

where is the automatic transmission position sensor(or switch) located on a 1990 accord? The "P" light (park) in the dash does not come on consistently, which causes the car not to be able to be removed from park. I have to move the console shifter around to get the light to come on. Wondering if the switch is mounted on the transmission or in the console?

Switch is under console, attached to side of shifter bracket.
