I have a 90 ford ranger. My power steering pump is leaking around the threads where it screws into the pump. I cant break the tap loose. Is there anything I can put on the threads to stop it from leaking. Thanks

I assume it's the power steering line. There is an oring behind the line that is leaking more than likely try replacing it.

Try heat fro a propane torch hold large nut if there is one then make sure to use a line wrench to loosen so you don't screw up the fitting a propane torch won't get that hot on fitting. Or if you have a small butane torch is better as it has a smaller flame. The most you will do is wreck the oring which you are going to replace anyhow. If things are in the way take off pump to get it out of the way
