What causes an automatic transmission to kick into gear and while driving and then coming to a complete stop the transmission looses its power and dont kick in to gear as easy but it still moves?

You may have a internal valve leak, a pressure problem or just a plain worn out transmission, a line pressure check will show up a few problem if pressure related and a scan may show up any electrical issue.
