door motors or switches?

the door lock and window won't work, how do I know if it is the switch or the motor?

You need to check if there is power to the motor. If there is, the motor is bad. If there is no power, check to make sure the switch is getting power both in and out. One other idea, check the wiring between the door and the door frame. Often times the wiring will break from opening and closing the doors.
