Car overheated

1990 Mustang 5.0 overheated due to electric fan failure. Could other damage happen to Motor from this. Can fix fan and refill coolant.

The most common problem resulting from an overheat, head damage (warp-age, cracks) Blow head gasket(s) valve damage.

All sorta depends whether you, stopped when the issue arose, or drove it, till things weren't sounding good, or as my Sister did her husbands truck. Called He and I, after it would not/ could not move another inch. She got the warning light 30 minutes earlier! But you must remember, it wasn't her fault, her husband should have checked the radiator and she could not stop, she had things to do!

C'mon, spit it out. What's going on with it?
