IF YOU'VE BEEN MEDDLING UP THERE NEAR WHERE THE BRAKE PEDAL PIVOTS, YOU MAY HAVE KNOCKED A CONNECTION LOOSE

THIS SWITCH IS ON THE "AXLE" (NOT THE DRIVE AXLES) WHERE THE BRAKE PEDAL PIVOTS

THE SWITCH MAY NOT BE EXACTLY IN THE RIGHT SPOT

THE WAY THIS KINDA SWITCH WORKS, MIGHT BE A LITTLE CONFUSING

THE SWITCH MAY BE REALLY WORN AND/ OR THE ELECTRICAL CONTACTS MIGHT BE BURNT

LET'S TEST THIS MONSTER!

ONLY 2 WIRES INTO IT - SURELY IF THEY TOUCH, THE BRAKE LIGHTS WOULD COME ON (THAT IS, IF THIS SWITCH IS THE PROBLEM)

SO WE CAN DO THIS 2 WAYS

SIMPLY JUMPER ACROSS THE 2 CONNECTORS WHILE THEY ARE STILL CONNECTED

OR SNATCH THE CONNECTOR(S) LOOSE FROM THE SWITCH AND JUMP THE 2 WIRES USING A PAPERCLIP

THE LIGHTS SHOULD WORK BY ELIMINATING THE SWITCH FROM THE EQUATION AND "MAKING" THE CIRCUIT W/ THE PAPERCLIP (CAREFUL, DON'T SHORT THE PAPERCLIP TO ANYTHING ELSE DURING THE TEST)

IF THIS WORKS, YOU HAVE A BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH ISSUE

IF THAT DON'T TURN 'EM ON, SOMETHING ELSE IS WRONG, IT'S NOT MR. SWITCH!

Are you getting power to the switch? There should be power to it at all times.

Let me know.
