My 1990 Dodge Ramcharger 5.9 L 4 speed 4X4 starts and will idle nicely, however it hesitates and then surges while accelerating it kind of feels like it’s under powered until it surges. It feels like it has full power while it is surging. It has a check engine light on. I have checked the plugs, distributor & cap, I also checked the EGR and replaced the O2 sensor. I also notice that of the 2 injectors in the throttle body only one is squirting fuel all the other only squirts a little fuel when the accelerator is pressed. What else could be causing this?

Could be caused by one of the following below

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing.
