The speedometer only goes to 50 mph

The speedometer in my 1990 lebaron only goes to 50 mph when the car is traveling. Also, the trip and odometer don't work at all. What can I do? All the issues in the question just happened. No other problems noted.

Checked Mit1 no VSS-you gonna have to open it up the dash and check the speedometer

Pulled the speedometer out and checked it but found no notable defects. The speedometer now operates normally but the odometer still doesn't work. Is there anything on the transmission or anywhere else that can be checked?
