tail light failure

Recently, my running tail lights went out, hazards work fine as well as my turn signals. As well as my brake lights went out. I do not know much about cars, and this is my first car.

check bulbs and then check brown wire as that is the power wire. if you are getting power it is either the socket is bad or the ground. if other lights work like dash lights and in front then it may be a broken wire between front and back.
