Hi I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the oil pressure cut of switch was to the fuel pump is I know where the oil pressure switch is for the gauge but I cant seem to find the other one soo if any of you can find a diagram or a picture or somethin it would greatly help I was told by a friend on left side of block but I jus cant seem to find thee damn thing engine is a 350 by the way

It is not a cut off switch. It is a bypass to the relay for extended cranking.

What is the issue?

I wanted to put an oil guage switch in there if it was possible but I cant find the hole or location guy I bought it from destroyed the location behind distribuator so I jus wanted to re locate one if it was at all possible let me kno thanks

There is a passage above the oil filter but it is not drilled to accept anything externally.

You may be better off trying to repair the hole in the back of the distributor.

Looks like theres a piece of hardened steal in there honestly my mechanic said not to worry but I jus thought id check into if theres any other way to mount a switch in different spot an is this the hole ur talking about I saw that but since it had no plug on it I jus figured it would be no good

Thats the hole but it is not drilled into anything at this time.

Soo if I adapted the switch into that location an redid the wires it wouldnt read anythin on the gauge anyways would it? An wjus wondering could you drill into that hole so that location would work just curious appreciate all the help jus dont wanna be driven arount not knowing the oil pressure

You would have to know exactly how deep to drill to get to the passage. Perhaps a machine shop can help you with that info
