Check fuel pump pressure and regulator. Also, if the check engine light is on, check for trouble codes. You can do it yourself with a paper clip. Cross the A and B connectors on the assembly line diagnostic lead. I have attached a picture of it. It should be under the dash / steering wheel area. Simply turn the key to the run position (don't start) and place the paper clip in terminals A and B. The codes are 2 digit numbers. The check engine light will flash a number of times, pause then flash again. The slight pause indicates it is going to the next number either in the 2 digit code, or to the next stored trouble code. Count the flashes to identify the code number. It will start with # 12. NOTE: It will flash each code 3 times. If code 12 is the only code that shows, there are none stored.
