we have checked under the car looking for holes or leaks and found none. door panelsand seals and window seals seem ok, no evidence of a heater core problem. also the right rear corner of my trunk gets wet and there seemto be no water trails

A seal somewhere has to be leaking. Since both the passenger compartment and trunk are getting wet, my guess is the rear window.
