i have a 1990 bmw 525i on cold days in the morning i have too start and let it run for 20 min the shut it off for about 15min before any of my gages or heat will work can anyone help me

From here it seems there are quite a few variables, could be something as simple as tuning the engine up, replacement of spark plugs, inspection of ignition components etc
