put out no heat

What could cause a 1989 Toyota Supra to put out no heat? The temperature gauge reads normal, and the heater blower works. The temperature gauge reads normal and the blower works. The a/c works and the regular cold air works, just not heat what could be the problem?

sounds like heat selection control is not functioning right. find the vent door on HVAC to see if it is working and why not.
