how do you take of a harmonic balancer on a 1989 toyota camry?

me and my dad are trying to replace the water pump but we need to take of the harmonic balancer.

i would suggest purchasing a repair manual because the timing may be critical to possible engine damage.

If you do not have a tool to hold the pulley, an impact wrench would be required to loosen the main pulley bolt.

Replacing the water pump requires the timing belt to be removed.
