do the lights go dim? test at starter motor soleniod for power with key on start.

Run longer piece of wire from poss batt term to small term on starter selonoid. If it cranks electrical issue before solenoid. If it doesn't crank and poss batt cable going to starter is in good condition and good connections bad starter.
