Where is the relay for the blower motor on 1989 Subaru GL Hatchback, and also where is resistor?

The blower for the heat, AC and defroster went out and I noticed a burning smell, which made me think it was thee blower motor. So I removed the motor, but can't find the relay or the resister which someone told me it could be one of these. Need to know their locations.

The relay should be under the hood in the relay box. As far as the resister, check on the HVAC box near the blower motor.
