Why won't my heat get hot?

I replaced my heater core and now my heat will not get hot. It was hot before I changed it. What might be the cause?

LETS GET 'ER TO OPERATING TEMPERATURE

GRAB ONTO THEM 2 HOSES THAT GO INTO THE HEATER CORE---FROM THE FIREWALL SIDE

WATCH THOSE PESKY MOVING PARTS---THEY WILL PUT A HURTIN' ON YOU!

ARE BOTH OF 'EM PRETTY DARN HOT?---ARE THEY AS HOT AS THE TOP OF YOUR RADIATOR OR CLOSE?

IF THEY ARE BOTH UNCOMFORTABLE TO HANG ONTO---I WANT TO KNOW

WELL. WHAT CHEW WAITIN' FOR

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
