Put the old battery back in and recharge it, then see what happens. Any chance the cables are connected backwards? Is the fat cable going to the engine block smoking, just at the cable connection, or the smaller black wire that's bolted to the body?

Smoking at the cable connection at the battery, the postive, actually relized that the the car is putting out a charge , can hear it buzzing after you hook up the positive with nothing turned on, im thinking maybe the starter? need to detach it from the starter to see if it stops putting out a charge
