I need to get all the information I can on replacing the fuel sending unit for a 1989 Pontiac Firebird.

It's in the tank and part of the fuel pump assembly.

You have to remove tank and then remove pump assembly. As far as I know, they dont sell sender seperately.

Looks like they make and sell sending units only for the 89 firebird.

Fuel pump is seperate item but does attach to the sending asembly.
