IS YOUR PCV SYSTEM INSTALLED/ SET UP/ WORKING CORRECTLY?
OTHER THAN THAT,
ENGINE CONDITION WOULD BE THE BIGGEST FACTOR. COMBUSTION "BLOW-BY" (RINGS NOT SEALING--DUE TO BREAKAGE OR EXCESSIVE WEAR WOULD CAUSE THE OIL TO BE BLOWN BACK THRU THE PCV FRESH AIR TUBE/ HOSE). A COMPRESSION TEST MIGHT REVEAL THIS COULD BE THE PROBLEM.
SORTA A QUICK CHECK WITHOUT GOING TO THE TROUBLE OF THE COMPRESSION TEST----WHILE THE VEHICLE IS RUNNING AT OPERATING TEMPERATURE, REMOVE THE OIL FILL CAP---IF IT'S PUFFING SMOKE OUT HEAVILY OUT OF THE FILL HOLE, MOST LIKELY IT'S TIME TO REBUILD THE OLE ENGINE
