My 1989 Nissan Sentra stalled at a red light and would not start back up.

I replaced the alternator and battery and still will not start up.I was told that it could be the timing chain. Help! This is very urgent!

Start with things like checking spark fuel psi injected pulse ecm codes and if thay all check out check engine vacuum and compresion.

I found that it was the pickup coil that is built into the distributor. I had the same problem with my sentra. I had also checked the spark and fuel pressure. Did change out the fuel pump.
