new clutch stopped working went to floor why

put a new clutch in my 89 nissan sentra 1.6 5speed an it worked for 20 minutes now the arm on the trans is moved an it made a pop noise an is to far forward now why?

the fork has come off the bellhousing inside the clutch. remove the boot on the side and look in to verify.

yeah thats funny i thought the same thing an ty but no boot on this tranny wish there was i have to pull the whole tranny back out the clips for the throw out bearing must of come loose an let the bearing earss move what a bummer but again ty
