Nissan Nomad problem

Hi guys, I have a 1989 nissan nomad 2.4 petrol manual, I have to problems maybe you know the answer to. First is a lound screechy whining noi se when started up, sonly a couple seconds of half minute at the most, sound like the gearbox but not sure?

second is when engine is warm and when pulling away in low revs she coughs and splutters and sometimes misses a beat but never when the engine is under load. Any ideas would be greatfully appreciated.
